Guinness World Record : Amazing Grace

Days, weeks, and months had passed since EN2010 happened here in Manila, Philippines. Actually, one of my closest friends and I planned to attend the once in a lifetime 3-day experience concert and conference with our fellow Christians. Unfortunately, only my bff got the ticket, I wasn’t employed yet and got no source of financial support to register in the said event. I was so frustrated and depressed due to that fact, knowing that lot of my friends, acquaintance and former classmates converted were able to buy one of the passes. As well as the presence of Darlene Zschech, Hillsong’s worship leader and song writer, added to my burden and regret.

Anyways, it was just last Sunday when I knew that the 2nd day of EN2010 held in SMX Convention Center last July 23, they attempted to record “The Most Languages Performed in a Song (with Multiple Singers from Different Countries): singing “Amazing Grace” by estimated number of 19,173 from 45 nations and 50 different languages including Filipino, Arabic, Mandarin, Zulu, Farsi, Spanish, Cherokee Indian and more. Closest to the Auld Lang Syne spot sung by 200 people under Communal Singing category.
The said victory was led by Every Nation Ministries and Victory Christian Fellowship: joined forces with other Christian churches here in Philippines.

“Amazing Grace,” published in 1779, came into being on a slave ship. It was written by John Newton, an English poet and clergyman, who participated, though reluctantly, in the slave trade.
According to the organization’s website, “many people believe the song was actually an old African folk song that Newton might have heard wafting up from the hold of his slave ship.” Courtesy of Inquirer.net

2011 Trek

Today is 13th of October, I have this thought since I was in college,
and now is the time to fulfill the dream. Still praying for a complete
enjoyment and safe travelling all over the nation. Of course,
I woudln’t be able to reach places where there’s war and
misunderstanding like in Mindanao.

My adventure countdown will begin after I have accomplished my
primary things that I needed most especially for documentation of
my trek in other parts of Philippines.

Hahahaha!!! Finally, I will be able to execute it, but before that
I must know what I will be using in my future journey. Watch out
and join me in my voyage starting January 2011 (as my target date).
Anyway, what I have to do now is canvass and look for better
equipments like Digital Camera, Pocket Money, Weekly Budget
(for Transportation, Souvenirs, Food, &c.) and the most importantly
is my exploration plan map.

Guinness World Record: 10.10.10 Run For Pasig

A once in a bluemoon event has set its Guinness World-Breaking record in the history, as Government, Showbiz, and Sectoral personalities joined the fun run with a theme “Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig” last October 10, 2010.
Which has its main vision of collecting funds for cleaning and betterment of Pasig River, nearby bodies of water and creeks as well.

This grand event can be said as one of main highlights of year 2010, aside from Inauguration of President Noynoy Aquino in Manila Grandstand, Venus Raj’s achievement in Ms. Universe happened in Las Vegas, Nevada, and now the “Run for Pasig”.

Celebrities mostly from ABS-CBN channel participated in the said event and also high-profile personalities like Vice President Jejomar Binay, Former President Fidel V. Ramos, his wife Ming Ramos, Pound for Pound King, Manny Pacquiao, El Shaddai Leader, Mike Belarde and one of P-noy’s sisters, Ballsy Cruz.

Breaking the previous record of “Bay to Breakers”, and now with estimated 116,000 runners not included those who were not registered that joined the race.

Ko Hyun Jung Fever

It’s been half a year (if I’m not mistaken) after I started building crazy sites forKo Hyun Jung. She’s really one of the Korean Actresses I like very much. I thought it was just for fun and fame to host such sites for KHJ. But suddenly in a blast, those domains I created has gone so far in terms of numbers of fans, activities like videos, pictures and other posts.

Here are the following sites I created for the sake of my KHJ addiction and satisfaction as well.
You’ll also learn all the updates in terms of afficionados and nadas who joined the said sites below.

1. Ko Hyun Jung / Go Hyeong Jeong (Facebook)
Fans – 3440
Photos by Fans – 846
Albums – 33
Videos – 39+

2. Ko Hyun Jung (Twitter)
Followers – 741
Listed – 41

3. Ko Hyun Jung (Socialgo.com)
Members – 113

Anyway, there are other sites I made for KHJ like for example: Daemul/The Substitute (for her upcoming TV show in Korea), I’m in Love to Ko Hyun Jung but I’m not a Lesbian, Hyam Jungil (Real life loveteam of Kim Nam Gil and KHJ). Hopefully, in time even if my parents are always against my passion in life like writing, following, blog hosting and doodling, I still pray to God that it will be succesful and be paid off in time.

Election 2010

2010 election in Philippines is approaching every single day in media world, streets and even in virtual reality. LOL.
Who to choose as my president is one of the hardest part of my decision making process in this coming May, 2010.

I would have wanted to pick any from three:

1. Gibo Teeodoro
2. Manny Villar
3. Noynoy Aquino

Anyway, a cute promo from 7-eleven in cooperation with GMA7, regarding the gulp 16 oz. with a glass or cup covered with faces of the candidates like Gibo (green), Noynoy (yellow), Manny (orange), Erap Estrada(Red), Dick Gordon (Blue) and those included from undecided or abstain (dunno what’s the reason they’re separated from others and having no solo cups but rather combined in a group candidates such as Eddie Villanueva, &c.

Here are the samples from Noynoy and Manny.

Manny Pacquioa

Pacman

It was a decade of my plain view in boxing, not until Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquioa (courtesy of Google.com) aka Manny “Pacman” Pacquioa spiced up my taste in the ring. Pacman’s big break was when he beat Lehlohonolo Ledwaba and replaced him as Super Bantamweight chmapion, Manny has constantly step forward into success of his career. As well as his most exciting fights against Mexican boxing icons like Marc Antonio Barrera, Juan Manuel Marquez, Erik Morales, Hector Velaquez, Oscar Larios and Jorge Solis. Due to draw decision of judges about Barrera and Pacquioa’s fight, they finally had a rematch last 2007 for a record.

paquiao's titles

Another for the record match of Manny Pacquiao was his battle versus David Diaz and Oscar De La Hoya, these are the best fights that put Pacman to the top. As well as Ricky Hatton’s disappointing performance inside the ring which only led into two rounds of defeat for Hatton. Even his fight against Miguel Cotto which fairly stopped up to the last round.

clottey and pacquiao

Having not less than eight significant titles in the field of boxing, Pacman is now again trying to test his luck beating Joshua Clottey for another milestone of his career. Manny is truly one of the best athletes on Earth. Pacman will always be a pride of Philippines in sports most especially in boxing arena. Either wins or losses in his future challenges with other boxers, I’ll be in Manny Pacquiao’s side.

God bless you Pacman!! ^_^

One Dollar Fun

Last February 14, we treated ourselves for a while, despite of the fact that I’m on my way of recovery from Influenza. I don’t wanna stay home alone, together with my sickness so I decided to go with my friends, thankfully God helped me to convince my mom to let me go out.

She just left me 200 pesos (equivalent to 4 dollars I think, if I’m not mistaken). The plan was to rent a bicycle and roam around the Quezon city circle but it didn’t happen anyway.

We went into a mini amusement park near the place called “Circle of Fun”. Twenty pesos (or less than a dollar) for admission and fifty pesos (or exactly one- dollar) for admission plus two rides in any of general ads of the park.

Love the experience, though I haven’t enjoyed much of the rides yet the spirit of excitement and thrill was all there within me. I don’t want to talk about much of how my friends left their bags in my responsibility ( that I almost looked like a baggage man), shocks!!

At the end of the day, after the risky trip under the blazing sun, we’ve been all satisfied by the food courtesy by Tropical Hut (very affordable). LOve it!!

We don’t need to be so glamorous to enjoy life, we don’t even need to have alot of money to afford happiness.

Adioshiiee!!

I Love Ko Hyun Jung

It was 21st of January when I decided to make a fan page for my beloved Ko Hyun Jung. I told myself that if it won’t work after three days, I will abort the page as soon as possible. But I was so surprised when the number of fans raised to 26 for its first day. I chatted with Yaki who’s one of my co-admins of the said Facebook site and who’s always helping me to update the page as well as sharing information regarding KHJ’s latest news and projects. Thanks to all who join KHJ’s site and its my pleasure to meet you all guys, for sure KHJ will love us too. . .coz we love her more. ahehehe 🙂 this is crazy, I’m always thinking of my fellow avid devotees of KHJ who were also charmed by her beauty, talent and everything. I love her and I know they do.

daesang award from mbc

Yes! Just what like Jacky said, we’re not ashamed to tell eveybody that we’re addicted and fond of her. She makes me remember of a song by Bryan Adams entitled “Heaven Knows” and it goes like this:

She’s always on my mind / From the time I wake up til I close my eyes / She’s everywhere I go / She’s all I know

I can barely express what I wanted to say but it’s all in three short words. . .
“I love her.”

She inspires me a lot. Hope you guys feel the same. I love the feeling and I can’t fight this feeling anymore.

Terima Kasih!
Selamat Tinggal!
(wishin’I got a right indonesian grammar, thanks to my indo friends)

God bless Everyone! 🙂

Ko Hyun Jung’s Comeback

Ko Hyun Jung

Very Beautiful

One of korea’s hottest, greatest actress, most popular, and beautiful faces is Ko Hyun Jung (Go Hyeong Jeong), she’s one of the most talented personalities in acting and modeling. Despite of her eight consecutive years (to be exact) of leave in show business, having two-kids with her formerly and recently divorced husband, KHJ was given a chance to prove herself again in the field of drama which is Queen Seon Deok, recorded as one of her top-rated shows in Korea. Beating Kim Tae Hee in Iris, the success of KHJ’s comeback show has drawn her to the top once again. Having one of the major roles in Queen Seon Duk as Lady Mishil or Seju Mishil, she caught the public attention to admire, love and devote their selves to her (FYI, I’m also tricked and hypnotized by her charm).

Personally, I love to browse videos of her (in Youtube.com), pictures downloaded and then printed in hard copies, and good gossips and latest updates about her. She’s pretty young at her age, very fresh, and hot in some sense. One of her interviews that made me love her most was with Golden Fishery, I love the sincerity and honesty in her voice, she’s never afraid of saying nothing but the truth regarding her feelings and thoughts. KHJ pleased me more than any Korean icons, she might not be internationally recognized but she has the guts to achieve it.

P.S.
Honestly, one of my very good reasons why I wanted to go to Korea is because I love to meet her, KHJ and my one and only love, Lee Dong Wook.
